Sugar Notch Police Announcement
Sugar Notch police department announces arrests have been made in the recent vehicle thefts that occured in town on October 8th, 2013. Police Identified the person(s) involved in less than 24 hours and charges were filed and a warrant was issued on October 10th, 2013. A hearing is scheduled for November 18th, 2013.

Sugar Notch Borough is seeking Borough residents interested in volunteering to serve on the Borough’s newly formed Sewer Advisory Committee.
This is a long-range planning committee working closely in cooperation with the Borough sewer Chairperson to insure that the Borough taxpayers receive adequate services and a fair rate structure.
The Committee will also be responsible to recommend programs and ordinances to Borough Council and to work on the implementation of inflow and infiltration control measures.

Sugar Notch zoning officer Frank Kratz will be available for issues related to zoning and permits on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 starting Tuesday June 4th.

We have had interest from residents regarding open burning in the borough.

Garbage Collection Changes
Attached is a letter which outlines items that will not be collected at curbside. This is a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection mandate which all municipalities must adhere to. Items that are determined to fall in these categories at collection time will be tagged as non-collectable.
Date: First Wednesday of the month is the Council Meeting. .
